Dear Friends and Customers,

It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of former owner and founder of Florida Music Service, T. Edison (Ed) James. Ed passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family Sunday evening, 11/06/11, just before 6:30 p.m.

Ed was an inductee in the Florida Bandmasters Association Hall of Fame as well as being a past president of the association. We've included his Hall of Fame Biography here for you. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loving wife, Charlotte, and the rest of his family as they mourn his passing. Please take a moment to read the biography from his FBA Hall of Fame induction below.
